Does anyone else find it unusual that a foreigner is running our state broadcaster? I first assumed Bakhurst was Irish until I heard his accent. I think there's a conflict of interest here. There's so many unanswered questions. How much of RTE's money is being spent on British production companies? What are his political views? Is he political affiliated with the Tory party? Who decided this? Why doesn't TG4 have subtitles on it's online content?
