    Hi All,

I am just looking for previous experiences and advice here.

I am 30 years old and planning with my partner to purchase a house.

Due to personal issues from my past. I have the following credit score issued:

-BOI credit card 500.00 euro debt - which I fully payed on this year, July

    • Avant Money credit card 1700.00 euro debt - which I fully payed off last year in October.

Also, my partners has no credit issues. We have evidence of renting for the last two years and savings of over 2500 euro monthly.

From you experiences, what are the chances of obtaining a mortgage, and which banks are the best to approach in this kind of situation.

    Thanks!

By "credit issues", do you mean these were debts from default or just balances being paid down? e.g. did you always meet the minimum payment in a given month.

If its the latter, you met the minimum every time, you may be OK right away. If they were debts from a previous default, I'd say to wait until at least July '25

I'd also recommend using a broker rather than doing individual applications; they will know what has the highest chance of success.
