    Hi ,

I registered as self employed in 2023 with the intentions of earning as a sole trader. However as it happened I did not earn/work as self employed until this year so theres no taxable income for 23. So what I'm asking is a form 11 necessary? Should I be paying preliminary tax for 24 or how is this calculated?

    Thanks

Even though you still had no income, you still need to file a Form 11. Preliminary tax is based off your previous income and should be 90%-100% of it.
