What do I need to think about if getting single phase welder

    ESb want me to drop the cable from the pole and run to a new CU, so may ask for 16 kVA.

    Am thinking 16A socket for th welder.

    Any thoughts

    Not really sure what the first sentence means there ?

    You apply to them if you want an upgrade
