Running cable from attic to consumer box

I need to run a Cat 6 cable from the attic to the consumer box on the ground floor, following an existing route along the back wall through an existing conduit into the utility room. An existing power cable is already using this path, and there is a conduit in the utility room where this cable runs. I’ll remove the RJ-45 connectors to make routing easier, but I want to avoid any wall damage. What’s the best way to feed the Cat 6 cable through the utility room conduit without damaging walls? Photos of the route and utility room conduit are attached.

Ideally CAT6 shouldn’t be run in the same conduit as an Ethernet cable.

The front cover comes off that trunking in the utility room.

Thanks a mil! You mean cat 6 shouldnt be run in the same conduit as power cable??

What would you recommend doing instead? There is a Garo meter in the consumer box, so could possibly try wireless transmission? I think wired is way more reliable though..

I want to replace my exising grid tied inverter with a hybrid inverter (so I can add battery in future). The hybrid inverter needs to see the grid in/out feed. It can be done using a CT clamp around the grid live but the inverter is too far away from the consumer box. It seems possible to use a meter connection in the grid and direct connect over RSJ485 to the inverter. Here is a wirining diagram:

That’s fine. Out of interest would you see there being a business case to add batteries at the moment given the strong feed in tariffs?

100%, the price of cells have dropped so much in the past year. You can build large capacity batteries for very cheap. Obviously source high quality LiFepo4 cells and a good battery box. The lithium iron phosphate chemistry is extremely stable and extremely long life. It's far safer than pretty much all of the lithium ion cells. It's what they are putting into the new EVs.

Sign up to Pinergy ev rate, you can pull from the grid for 5.5C/kWh and then power your house. Anything left can be grid dumped in the evening/night @25/kWh. Rinse and repeat, its very cost effective.

I need to replace breaker in the CU and add a meter. Not keen on doing it myself though
