    hi,

I have a bathroom cabinet with integral light assy to connect. The cabinet has 3 core cable, the previous light with shaver socket only used twin core and that’s what’s coming out of the wall for my new one ( live & neutral, with an uninsulated copper wire in the conduit)

How do I get the cabinets earth wire connected?

    thanks

The uninsulated copper wire is probably the earth, PVC coated live/neutral and uninsulated earth was the norm in the past.

However, it is also pretty common to have no earth on lighting circuits in older houses anyway.
