Discovered today that I’ve 1724 contacts in my phone but at this stage I rarely receive a call. Used to use my phone for work a lot more than I do now.
how many have you got? Do you do a regular clear out of the ones you don’t use?

    96. I used to use my phone a lot in my last job. Only calls I get these days are scam calls. 😣

I've lost count, but I'd say I have well over 5 million contacts.

I use to be very popular, but hardly anyone calls me any more 😥

For anyone who wants to add me, my phone number is 11811.

    616.

I added my dad's Google account to my phone, to help with his email and stuff, and it merged all of his contacts with mine, and no way to filter them out. 😫

I find it’s always difficult to delete. There’s that mad notion of sure what if I need their number in the future.

You can change the settings for that to just sync contacts from your Google account and not your Dad's

96 contacts. Used to be alot more. I'm brutal at breaking phones and losing contacts pictures and so on. I have all the important contacts and that's all I need.

Never understand why people just store these things on device. What ever phone you have turn on cloud/internet backup and then when you get a new phone, just login and everything will transfer. Simple.

About 200 now, I used to have well over a thousand and have cleared it down a good bit. Must actually do another clearout soon :)

Many of them are because I am in a club.

441 but its what I've accumulated over the years. Family, friends, colleagues, buddies, some traders even. Anyone who ever was worth having a name popping up instead of a number I dont recognise. There are probably only 2 dozen which I'd call active contacts.

But handy enough to still have the number of that plumber or electrician who did a nice job 10 years ago.

90 contacts - all the numbers that i need including family, friends, some work colleagues, a few tradesmen and a few WhatsApp groups i am a member of.

I just went to check and to my surprise I have a nice round number 1900.... Now at risk of sounding weird next time I'm adding someone I'll be thinking...... You're messing up my bloody nice number.

I store everything to my Gmail but the downfall is whenever I have gone through mu numbers in the past wheni delete them off they always seem to come back...

Crikey, four digits! I have about 35 and I only contact 15-20 regularly. I also have friends whose number I don't have, and I contact them purely through Messenger (most of them are abroad).

It depends on how you view your contacts. I store everything that was once and may be useful again. It adds up over time. And most of it will not ever be used again. But then again you may have a question for that lad you bought your car off 4 years ago, who knows?

Also it depends on your job. My buddy is a project manager for building/contracting jobs. I'd say his contact list is insane.

As many as you would expect an incel to have. Immediate relatives and some cam girls who I dealt with via WhatsApp. No friends or acquaintances at all. I had a few friends up until 11 years ago but they soon cut me off when they got girlfriends. If they ever reached out to me in the future I would take great pleasure in ignoring them.
