Ordered a new TV, delivered last Wednesday. Put together the new IKEA TV stand and powered up on Friday. After 5 hours, the TV turned off and refuses to turn on.

Called the store and they submitted a ticket with manufacturer for service. This feels like a waste of time, considering the TV is "brand new".

Should I not be able to return it for an exchange or refund? What are my consumer rights?

I initially asked for the TV via their website so I assume this provides a 14 day return period?

Unfortunately, the store website doesn't have a refund policy. :(
