Cleaning tarmac drive

I had some work done to the house and the guys mixed their cement on the tarmac. Also water based paint has been spilled on the tarmac. Calling them cowboys would be unfair to cowboys. Cement damage covers about 1.5m2. Paint damage is lots of small-ish marks, like rings from the bottom of paint buckets and splashes where the brushes have been cleaned.

Problem now is how can I clean the tarmac without having to dig it up and have it relaid, probably at great expense.

    Dave
