Looking to hire a powered sweeper.

    I need to clean and seal my tarmac driveway but I need a powered sweeper to brush away the moss after I kill it off with hypochlorite.

    Anyone know if places hire these things out somewhere within half an hour of Athlone?

    Most people would just pressure wash it?

    Worst thing in the world for tarmac is to pressure wash it. I did that a few years back and the following year it was covered in moss. The washing just opens up pores the moss can grow from.

    Plan is to spray it with Hypochlorite to kill off the moss and brush it off to remove the detritus and then seal with Liquafix.

    Anyway it's fine I've found Bomac Hire in Athlone hire them out.
