Elverys lack of support

Here's my experience with Elverys so far.

I made an order on August 8th on Elverys website for 2 pairs of runners, using the offer ‘Buy One Get One Half Price’.

After checking a week later, I noticed the website advised there was a delay to the shipping. One pair of these was received a lot longer than the specified delay online, September 6th. Almost a month later.

I then received an email on September 12th, to advise me that the second pair would not be arriving, and was then refunded the amount for the half price pair.

I immediately wrote back on September 12th, to advise I would not like the refund, I specifically chose to make my purchase there due to the offer which was on.

I requested an option for an alternative pair, as this, again, was the reason for me shopping there.

Nevertheless a refund ensued, I was also advised my email would be responded to within 4-5 days.

The next contact I had was on September 30th, where I received an apology for the late delivery of one pair of runners, and a 30% off code.

This did not address the issue I raised at all. I never complained about the late delivery.

I emailed them on Sept 12 and October 21 asking for an alternative. I also sent a webform from their website to them on Oct 28 in case they didn't get the emails (even though I always got. response with reference number), but they have never replied to me.

I'm not sure what I can do here, I know I got the €36 back for the half price runners, but the whole purpose was to get the 2 pairs.

Why don't you just return the runners you got and get a full refund under distance selling regulations?

    Poor form.

If they understood customer service they would have refunded 25% of the delivered pair so that you received full value of the offer.

Not much you can do except return the delivered pair and a full refund as it was a combination order.

I would guess that the OP has worn the runners - they were delivered early in September.

Hey, yeah unfortunately I had worn them before I was advised I wouldn't be getting the second pair.

I understand about the delays, I even understand the 2nd pair were out of stock.

I don't understand why they won't reply to any of my emails, even just to say that there's nothing they can do!

That's the frustrating part, and to me, lacks any kind of support!
