Dimmable LED and Compatible Switch

Hi,

Can someone recommend a compatible LED spot light and compatible dimmer switch, that you can purchase online for delivery to. Ireland. The LED dimmer switch maker should list the LED manufacturer/type are compatible, otherwise bulbs will flicker. Lots of combinations listed online, but struggling to find a combo to delivery to Ireland. Ideally in a brushed silver finish (just a nice to have!),

HI, no brand of dimmer manufacturer's validates another manufacturer's bulbs that I know of, they just advise that you buy good quality bulbs. I found Phillips dimmable LED's to be very good - to the point where I have 14 of them on a Varilight V-pro LED dimmer in my sitting room for 10 years and I have never replaced one.

But they don't. I think what you might be missing here is the fact that the LED bulbs themselves have to be dimmable. Once you have an LED dimmer and LED bulbs which support dimming, there will be no flickering.

Screwfix have a good range of Varilight V-Pro dimmers. When I was buying, the only V-Pro dimmers they sold with special finishes were all single gang units - the only multigang model they sold was white moulded but I see they now stock a few two-gang dimmers with special finishes.
