Returned User - Creating New Posts

Hi Folks,

I registered a Boards account some time ago, from Ireland but lived in Australia, so some of my enquiries were related to Ireland and that's why I used Boards.ie. Recently I updated my account password but when I signed in and navigated to the legal area to create a post, there was no "new post" button. Am I messing something?

You need to confirm your email address first, you can see the user group showing under name displaying that status.

Yep,

I can see that, and though I'd not noticed it before you mentioned it, the only email I received today was a reset password email. I would have originally hit a confirm email address email when I first registered the account whenever it was registered, but I can't see a confim email email anywhere in my inbox. Could you please resend the email confirmation email?

You can resend the activation email using this link (assuming the address is entered correctly though).

I clicked on the link and I got a red box that said: "your email doesn't need confirmation". I'd pos the screenshot, but that doesn't seem to be possible.

Desktop using Safari. I can post now, though I am seeing this behaviour. It's not a problem, at least not yet, but I figured it'd be right to send this to you. Thanks for your help with the problem. The problem being that the new discussion button and chat page numbers menu are partially hidden. Using: Safari Version 16.6.1 (16615.3.12.11.5, 16615)

I had tried a few locations on the forum, and couldn't see a new post item. I understand there's. new discussion button and I've seen that and can use it now. Good to know that there will be some places I simply can't post. Thanks for the heads up.

@Spear it happened to me on Chrome - but seems to be intermittent, and not very often in my case. It displays fine now. I will let you know if it happens again.

Edit to add: this is how it looks like on google chrome, on desktop/laptop. The top row is half hidden but the radio buttons can be clicked on, no bother.
