    I need 300 Watts, for up to six hours. To run stuff amounting to collectively drawing 300W.

    I'm looking at Power Packs. One states " 512Wh / 500W Gen ". Its bigger partner is 768Wh 1200W Gen. Any indication that either of those could do it, please?

    Thanks.

    Hey dude!

    I presume we're talking equipment running off AC (mains) power and not DC (low voltage) power?

    300W for an hour would be 300Wh (watt-hours), so yours would be 6 times 300W, plus 20% for electrical overhead and around 30% for battery capacity overhead (so that you don't go from 100% capacity to 0% capacity (as that kills batteries in short order))...

    6 * 300W = 1,800Wh. Plus 20% = 2,160Wh. Plus 30% = 2,808Wh. So let's say a 3kWh battery pack.

    You're looking at a ~2000 EUR battery pack… 🙄 A jenny is cheaper by far.

    Don't rule it out - battery prices are still coming down. Look at this one:

    You'd just need three of these and an inverter (if it's AC). So hold your hopes.

    @10-10-20 " So hold your hopes. "

    Clock's Spinning, 10! 😕 I actually saw ye last, much earlier. Been carrying on with my day, letting everything percolate. It's complex 😬

    Units I was originally referring to were Anker's. (No surprise there, so) One or the other of them was about to roast my budget completely. Basically, about doubling it, to £600. I'd talked myself into accepting that. Especially given that it's Anker. K?

    So, there I was, hunting Anker. Short version? Bloody good luck with getting one into Leitrim! But, I'd been trying not to know that. Thought I'd cross that bridge …..

    Ye've just, effectively, put me back At that bridge! My £600 Anker's no earthly use to me anyway. Even if I could get my hands on one. Now, we have the Right gear. 'Right' price. But; How the hell do I get them, over here, without breaking the law ~ and risking losing them ~ Or breaking the Rothschild Bank on the heavenly 'Charges' it would incur? 😐️

    Trouble is, mate? I don't think I'm missing anything here.

    I can't vouch for or promote anything good or bad but there are Irish based stockists of Anker stuff. Looking around, Heavins and Harvey norman are 2 examples.
