Steve Marshall is a name that crops up quite a bit when you look at the Irish pirate radio archives, for the 1980s in particular. Like many others, he came over from Britain to Ireland in the 1980s (in his case 1980) to try out Irish pirate radio, having served his time in other pirates. Again like others, that included offshore pirate radio. In his case, he also came over to see his Irish relations - he had some Irish blood!

Here is a list of Irish pirates that I am aware of that he was involved with. Many of them came from his own mouth in an interview!

Dublin: Southside Radio, Dun Laoghaire - Steve's first Irish pirate back in 1980; Capitol Radio (1982 version)

Cork: South Coast Radio, Cork City - Cork's first super pirate; ERI, Cork City; Cork City Local Radio, Cork City; WKLR, Bandon, Co. Cork

    Waterford: ABC

Galway: Atlantic Sound 1026, WLS, Coast 103, Quincentennial Radio - 1989

Donegal: Radio Nova; Riverside 101 - started in 1989, not sure when he joined but he was with it up until the early 1990s.

If you know of others, please add them in.
