EGR Cooler replacement and DPF Clean - A4 B9

    hi all. Interested to hear some opinions on the following. I have a 2017 Audi A4 2.0 TDI 150 BHP. It is throwing up fault code P200200 which by all accounts means that the EGR cooler requires replacement along with a DPF clean. I have got a number of quotes for this work and they range in the 1500-1700 range which is pricey enough! If anybody knows anybody who may do this work at a better price please let me know.
    Another person I know outlined to me that it is possible to remap the ECU and take out EGR and modify DPF to suit. This would be a more cost effective option. Has anybody any advice on this or the best approach to take? Thanks in advance.

    I’ve mapped out a few EGR’s. Only costs €200 or so and the fault never reappears.

    Only problem with mapping out is are you will to take risk of righting off car if nct bring In Particular matter for dpf or what some Irish garage man on tiktok it saying that nct and bosch Diagnostics are in Development of obd reading of dpf at nct . And reducing the amount of people who would be willing to buy it if you go sell it on
