This one is a damn good price and seems to get excellent reviews. I don't own it but am in the same boat as you and seriously tempted

I’ve had a robotic vacuum for the last three years but replaced it with a cordless stick vacuum. With robotic vacuums you’re still going to need to get out of bed. Before you start the robot on its run you’re going to need to clear all of the crap off the floor and make sure the doors are all open. My vacuum always got stuck under a few of the rads so I needed to put something in front of them. It had trouble with my rugs too, often getting stuck. So, they had to be moved out of the way. Also, it wasn’t great at vacuuming. I often had to run it twice. Once the novelty wore off I had buyers remorse.

I agree . Bought a Roomba J5 ( I think) it’s an ornament now and the mop never really cleaned properly anyways .

I bought the Roomba J7+ during black Friday, hoover only, no mop as I wasnt sure how useful it would be.

It can be a little annoying to have to tidy things away and leave doors open, but I am pretty used to that now and that takes far less time than doing the actual hoovering.

We have wooden floors throughout the house so no carpets or mats to worry about, but you really see the dust on a wooden floor also. The robot heads out pretty much every day and does a sweep of the downstairs around 2am, its definitely picking up lots of dust as the bag can be quite full, also we dont see dirt/dust around the floors. I think the secret, a bit like a robot mower, is that it just runs all the time, not the once a week hoover that you would do yourself. Anything that it misses will get picked up the next day.

We only paid €300 for it since it has no map, but are really considering getting the mop version to truly clean the floors.

have a laresar, got it off amazon, great job for hoovering, mop is a bit meh, once it maps out the house you can call it to clean a room or do a spot clean after dinner under the table, you can designate no go areas, areas for greater suction such as rugs, it has a base station so self empties the bag, be month before i need to empty the base station, we are happy with it anyway
