Dry eye

Been waiting near two years for an appointment at Eye and Ear. I have one dry eye, which varies in intensity from almost normal to today, where it is so scratchy I want to pluck it out. Has anyone a suggestion for relieving it? Tried vidisic gel and hycosan and artelac. No benefits
