Working family payment what are the max hours you can work?

    Hello, a family member currently on WFP and is working 20 hours per week. The employer is asking to increase the hours but what are the max hours you can work without impacting the weekly WFP payment. Have tried citizens advise website but I cannot see the max hours , she is definitely doing more than required 38 hours over the fortnight. Often 40/42 over the two weeks

    I don't believe there is a max amount of hours, only the minimum. What she earns could affect it, depending on wages/family size etc though.

    The family income limits are laid out here.

    Thank you, I just got through to citizens advice bureau and you are correct there is no max.

    Rate is fixed for the year, it may impact next year upon renewal if you’re earnings have increased from previous . Good to know. Thank you for the reply
