Flat roof covering problem

Hi There,
This might be more appropriate to someone in the trade. I had my flat roof recovered in paralon Adr/HS felt,nine years ago.I believe it's a very good quality membrane .A small area of two adjacent sheets now have small bubbles and potholes. Anybody any idea what might have caused this defect.The rest of the roof looks fine.
