Rang them this morning at 10.30 am. Person was aggressively stopping us from doimg work on a house due to an issue they had, nothing to do with this.

We obviously could not move them.as this is type of person if you went near them they be delighted as can put a claim in and cry victim.

Work stopped while waiting on them. At 12 a group of them went to another job. Person was still there, threatening us.

Called Gardai at 2 and asked for update. They had my call registered but could not tell me when they were coming.

Rang them there at 4.40 to cancel it as going home.

Ask me was it sorted and I said no.

They said someone might still come out and they call me on my phone. I had used my work phone when I first made the call. I asked to change it to personal number.

So I can explain to the Gardai who the person was and tell we will start work again on Friday and not to intefre.

He said he couldn't do that or cancel the call.

So maybe five hrs from now police show up no one here, and then leave.

    Great stuff.

This is during the day? The Gardai were probably too busy doing more important stuff like attending career events, the crime slot on local radio or visiting schools to tell kids to wear a hi-viz during winter.

There's never a shortage of Gardai standing in for the photos in the local Facebook page.

Since it was not a Garda matter why would they deploy resources to it? Go talk to your solicitor and he will explain it to you and what needs to be done before it becomes a Garda matter.

Section 13 of the Criminal Justice (Public Order) Act, 1994 would disagree with you.

So a person screaming, shouting, threatening grabing equipment and trying to hit people with said equipment, isn't something to call the Gardai for?
