Motor Tax amount Query

I purchased about a month ago , a 212 Hyundi Tuscon 1.6 diesel. The Amount paid to tax the vehicle was €270. However My Query is every other Vehicle I have checked Exact same Make and model and year is set at €210.

My Father even bought the same Model and year vehicle as myself and the price is €210.

Would anyone know why the difference in costs .

Different Co2. Does yours have larger wheels or something like that?

No, the Vehicles are identical in every way . Only difference is the color :-D

Compare the co2 figures on both of your log books.

I had a colleague do a NVF Look up on both and I think you are correct On the 4 wheel Drive Mistake . Obviously haven't included all the inf. I'll need to reach out to Moto tax to get this resolved as Its not a 4WD vehicle

I would have thought 4WD would add more than 1g of Co2. But like we said that 1g of Co2 has pushed you into the next tax bracket.

your friends one is a dual clutch automatic. It also seems to be a MHEV mild hybrid.

There is a non MHEV manual showing on VRT calculator with 141 WLTP emissions

I’m guessing there was a revision at some stage in 2021 and yours is the earlier type
