Dumbdown heating (from Honeywell Evohome)

Got this installed (for free) nine years ago when ESB were doing some trial or that.

By and large it’s been grand, just when stuff breaks it can be silly money (radiator smart TRV 50-60 euro and break a lot for no reason), the hot water system broke and kn networks hadn’t a clue.

But more and more it’s becoming a hassle, I had to take out my Deco mesh system as thought it was the cause of flashing red light (lost communication for over an hour), then as I said the TRV keep breaking and ive no more spares (another few hundred for a pack of 3 off amazon)

I asked my boiler service fella, who was to ask the electrician (who fixed the hot water that was originally setup wrong, so he knows this kind of thing), I asked the electrician 3 times on whatsapp and just threw out more smart system/trv etc and then ignored me

Can anyone recommend somone who could come out an say you need this or that and it will cost x, ideally no more smart trv and just on/off and boost (brother hasn’t a clue about tech and parents in their 80s), be nice to keep the ability to heat water on a timer
