Opening Bank Account for Disabled 16year old ?

My daughter will be 16 years soon and I need to open a bank account for her for her disability allowance to be paid into. I have rang AIB and I was told that the information regarding carer's is online and to make an appointment with her to open one suitable for her. TBH I have read and read and I'm getting no where. I wonder if anyone in a similar situation could advise me please. My daughter is severely disabled, has absolutely no understanding of anything, is non verbal and will never be able to do anything for herself, we would need an account that either me or her Dad could be on, is there one that I can choose that will allow this ? what kind of authorisation do I need ? I keep reading on AIB about needing authorisation. Also do I need to keep receipts for every transaction that I do on the account as it won't be her accessing it.
