Buying a watch in Zurich - any deals?

So couple of questions re buying a watch. I am going to be in Zurich in November for a day and was thinking about treating myself to a watch for my birthday. Moneywise around the €500 - €1200 range. So couple of questions

(1) I am assuming there will be a far greater watch variety in Zurich

(2) Are there much of a difference in prices between Ireland and Zurich

(3) Anybody recommend area/shop I can view a large selection of different watches together rather than one or two brands

I am not after any one specific brand - I am more the "if I like the look of it, fits well and has the features I want" person.

(4) Can you negotiate on prices or are they strictly "pay the sticker price"

the tax rate in Switzerland is 9% as far as I can recall and yes you can haggle a bit so there can be good savings to be had. I picked up a Panerai earlier this year in Lugano and was a big difference between what I paid there and the asking price in Dublin.
