I left a bag on an Emerald airlines plane (booked through Aer Lingus) Liverpool to Dublin last Monday, entered details on wereturnit.com on the day, got a generic "not on our database at the moment " email but nothing since, does anyone have any experience of how quickly this company would typically find and return an item?

    Thanks.

Unfortunately I can only assume my bag wasn't handed into lost and found, so looking increasingly doubtful that Ill get it returned.

I assume you are using that website because you got nowhere directly with the airline and their baggage handling partner?

According to the Dublin airport website Sky Handling Partner deals with them. If that doesn't work contact Emerald and Aer Lingus. More contact details here.

Thanks for reply, I was still in the airport when I realised I left my bag on the plane, I phoned aer lingus lost baggage, was put thru to call centre, was told my only option was that website, I did call lost baggage using the courtesy phone in the terminal building but got answering machine, left message but didn't get a return call. I will try the web address you suggested.

Might also be worth reaching out directly to Emerald airlines themselves

All roads lead back to wereturnit.com it seems, so if the bag isn't handed in, they can't return it.

Their "contact us" tab brings you to the Aer Lingus site.
