    Afternoon All

I have a Heatline compact gas boiler that is running well. It's about 15 years old. I built a lean to outside at the side of the house, but the outer flue is under the polycarbonate roof. I now need to try and resolve so that there is no carbon monoxide build

up in the lean to. I am wondering if anybody knows how I would go about sorting it. Maybe a flue extension kit etc etc

You really should have contacted your rgi before doing the build. Contact them now.

AFAIK, not all gas boilers have extension kits available.

Please follow site and charter rules. "Resistance is futile"

Thanks for that. The lean to is up 18 months or so. Yea not all gas boilers do , hindsight is a great thing. Just wondering how to rectify it.

I hope that lean-to has open sides! You're going to get the mother-of-all murderous stares off the RGI… so best be wearing your teflon jocks.

And I can bet that at least one of them will just suggest cutting a large hole directly over the flue. 😙

As far as I know there are 90 degree bends for that flue. Try calling Vaillant in the UK, they are the same company.
Get a gas installer to fit it. Boiler will need to be gas analysed and combustion adjusted after it’s fitted.
