Requesting a phone line be placed on house instead of over garden

Hey folks,

There are two phone lines running from a telephone poll across the front of my house to my neighbours and my own front door. The problem is that that's run right across my windows and block easy access for washing windows, cleaning gutters etc. The angle against the house is very low

Does anyone know if EIR would be willing to reroute them along the wall of my house.. I think Cable is already done this way. I'm not unreasonable, I'd pay a charge if needed. I know they have a right to use the space over the gardens.
