I put a scathing though honest review of a law company . They have reported me to google as malicious and it’s telling me that everytime I open a new page . How do I contact google to have this removed

Difficult one and made so by Google.

Have you considered visiting them in person in Google Ireland HQ in Barrow street?

    Or

Looking up Google's phone number in the last telephone directory produced by Eir?

Thanks , I was on to google by email and after verifying I’m not a bot several times it seems to be lifted now .

My question here would be whether Google have a right to be gatekeeper or judge/jury based on the recipient of the bad review not being happy with it. The recipient has a right of reply to the negative review Google taking sides, even temporarily, goes against the principle of users being able to publish open and fair reviews based on their experience. I think everyone knows there are lots of fake positive reviews that Google don't have an effective way to weed out

I have been tempted to put a similar review of a solicitor on Google too. I would not be the first to have experienced the same substandard service. I would be extremely annoyed if Google were to sanction my account in a similar way.

I suppose it's the whole "fair comment/libel" line, and guess which angle a legal firm is gonna go with.
