Time to abandon trek

I have been a fan from about the mid 70s. Had the dolls in the 70s

Watched the next generation. Loved it watched deep space 9 loved it.

Watched voyager - didn't love it as much but watched it

I watched a bit of the enterprise but wasn't gone on Scott baluka even though I liked him in quantam leap. I think at that stage I needed a break

But I never saw the value of a prequel. Still can't. It's a cop out

I disliked discovery because it never built a good ensemble cast and declined badly after season 3. It was too much into virtue signaling and seemed to buy into the let's bury heterosexual white males that pervades our universities

Strange new worlds has a dead cat bounce about it and at least has a bit of crack and adventure about it plus a normal male

Picard was **** for two seasons. The third was great. Stewart is just too old and needed an ensemble cast.

Once SNW is done im done

The spirit of Trek mixed with the fun, excitement and sense of adventure is very much alive in Prodigy and Lower Decks.

All eyes on Kursk. Slava Ukraini.

    Ms

The First half of the first season of Prodigy is not great. Its more like Star Wars than Star Trek but after that it gets much better.

The second season was brilliant proper Trek.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

I was watching Lower decks on amazon prime but it seemed to disappear. Will look again. Prodigy I'm looking up. There are em... ways and means.

Whats the final season of discovery like?

I'll never totally give up on star trek. However, I'm done with it as long as Kurtzman and his cronies are involved.
