    Hello, I have an issue that the receiver box is no longer picking up a signal from the remote. I have changed to new duracell batteries but no luck.

    It is controlling the volume on the TV no issue. It's like remote has switched to tv mode only

    Box is working fine changing channels manually

    Sometimes remote controls need a cleaning. Might be the problem?

    Thanks, tried this, but afraid I will break the remote off I open it

    It looks like when I had a sky remote and hit the TV button and it worked the TV only and then you hit the sky button again and then you are able to change channels again. I don't think I have that option with a Edision remote
