Hi all, Looking at replacing a tractor before the winter feeding.

Two options Landini Mythos 110 or a Kubota ME9000

Anyone any comments positive or negative about either tractor?

    Thanks

    Liam

I know nothing about either but how close the nearest mechanic is for either would inform part of my decision.

    Valid point.

I have also been told the Kubota is a lighter tractor. I would be using the tractor for drawing in bales, spreading slurry and hedge cutting so don't want a tractor which is too light.

    Thanks

Have a ME9000 here and literally my only complaint about it is the back end is too light. I have a weight for the lift arms for bringing in bales and wouldn't attempt to lift silage without it.

Otherwise it's a great tractor with no electrics to go wrong. Spread all the slurry here with a 1600 gal tanker and there's a mounting for hedge cutter control box from the previous owner in the cab so issues there. But it's a fair comment to say they're a bit light. You can get wheel weights for them afaik
