There seem to be a huge number of cancellations at the moment, often several in the same hour - does anyone here know what's going on? I'm lucky to live on several bus routes, and this one is the worst by a long way for unexplained cancellations. Unfortunately my mother isn't so lucky, it's her only bus. She's very elderly…

There seem to be a huge number of cancellations at the moment, often several in the same hour - does anyone here know what's going on? I'm lucky to live on several bus routes, and this one is the worst by a long way for unexplained cancellations.
Unfortunately my mother isn't so lucky, it's her only bus. She's very elderly and stood for forty minutes near Smithfield today waiting on a succession of 83s, all cancelled one after another. She'd been to the cinema and was trying to get home. She's home now, but frozen, damp and exhausted. Was supposed to be going for lunch with her granddaughter, but had to cancel as the trip home took so much out of her. The buses appear in realtime app and then gradually change to 'cancelled'.
