Anyone know if NME magazine is available to buy in Ireland or NI?

I'm pretty certain it is only available online; and in extremely limited print runs so you aren't even guaranteed to be able to get it. Last edition is sold out.

It isn't sold in normal shops.

Would there be an alternative? I see Q is gone.

It's for a youngster whose only interest is music, to encourage them to do some reading. They are mostly into hip-hop and rap but the last album they bought was Pink Floyd.

I think Mojo magazine is still available. That may do the job.

'The Wire' is supposed to be good (and seems to cover a broad range of stuff)

    Anyone seen it around?

Had a sub for years. Still see it in Eason's.

Record Collector also a good read.

The Wire is good for more experimental music.

All other magazines mentioned are solid and can be found at Easons.
