Can’t find much when I did a google search

Was in car parts place and he said my car reg is saying I have an estate when it’s a hatchback, said the vin is ok

I looked in logbook and its down as a MPV as best as I can figure out its section D.3

Do I need to get onto someone to change it from estate?

    Thanks

Don't know why you'd bother. An MPV is just an inflated "estate car" to all intents and puposes.

That's normal enough in recent years. Many VW Golf hatchbacks are classified as estate on their reg cert. Clerical error either by the VRO or Motor Tax office at the time. Makes no difference to the owner in reality.

had a Volvo V40 which was sold as hatchback but classified as Estate.

You can change it if you want but doesn’t really matter

if it’s a Leon or Golf, this is quite normal and no need to do anything. You’ve got a Corolla though?
