Happened first last night so just retraced my steps in Firefox incognito.

Everything fine initially in incognito across several discussions, so local issue. Went to the discussion, below, where it manifested first and the incognito page fell over too.

Chrome doesn't break on this page, but it does hang

It has been noted on the bugs thread also, one comment on that thread is causing it to hang.

Yeah I saw that but that hangs browsers, this completely mangled my local rendering of the entire site, in an ongoing fashion.

I'm going to clear down my local cache and see if it fixes it

Yup, that thread corrupted the local files on my phone.

Clearing cache cleaned it up.
