Here is how I see it
In a few years Irish won't be taught in many secondary schools because they simply can't get teachers.
The work load of post holders will continue to increase. Now, you did step over the bodies of your colleagues but it's still a bad deal. The Asti has failed to get a time allowance like the ETbs
The teacher shortage is getting worse in general and the government has done nothing effective about this
Teacher work load paper wise is increasing - partly due to teachers rolling over when their principal whistles. Or living in fear of inspectors who couldn't hack teaching and got out
Discipline going down the tubes
Teachers failing to go to union meetings. Union populated by old people
Teachers largely to blame for their own misfortune as two yellow bellied to strike
