We're 5 episodes into season 40, and it's turning out great so far. Four eras in teams (Season 1-10, 11-20 etc.) and some massive names have gone home already.
The new way they have of picking the the contestants for the final challenge means that anyone can end up in the elimination challenge, and that's makes for a more even season overall.
