For me, it was circa Summer 2003.

    WEEKDAYS

6am The Full Irish (Yes, Ryan Tubridy was actually enjoyable to listen to on the radio!)

    9am Gerry Ryan

    12pm Larry Gogan

    2pm Gareth O'Callaghan

    6pm Dave Fanning

    7.30 Dusty Rhodes

    9pm Rick O'Shea

    11pm Conor G

And then on Saturday morning, you would have a 'Best Of' Gerry's show (The Weekly Ryan) followed by Will Leahy's Saturday Show.

And Sunday, 'Ireland's Biggest Jukebox' with John Clarke.

    What's your favourite?

the late 80s to mid 90s were brilliant. 24 hour live broadcasting, no playlists, no automation, proper DJs.

plenty of discussion and RTE Guide schedules here:

Mid 1990's for me. Ian Dempsey, Gerry Ryan, Larry Gogan, Gareth O'Callaghan, Barry Lang, Tony Fenton, Dave Fanning.

That lineup remained pretty much unchanged for much of the 1990's until first Barry left and then Ian. I don't think it was ever at the same level again.
