My father now 89 has AMD in both eyes, one with just peripheral vision, the other at a very early stage but hes getting wavy lines, but can see and function normally. Physically hes like a man in his early 70s, really fit and well able to live alone.

Anyway, tge topic of glasses was being discussed, is there an optician (Dublin based prefered) that would have speciality in prescribing glasses best suited to this condition. He uses specsavers and im thinking it might be better to goto a specialist optician. Anyone any experence with this ?
