Is the loss of pressure on all taps?

I have a ST Monsoon and when the PCB and or capacitor go, the pump does not turn on at all.

Could be a blockage problem or a valve.

These guys have spare parts, reconditioned pumps and offer a repair or replacement service as well.

    €1400??

    Thats way too much.

The guys above replaced my pump when I decided to go from 2bar to 3bar.

Can't remember the exact cost but it wasn't more than €500-€600 with the trade in of the old one and labour.

Give them a call and have a chat with them. They are really helpful.

As you are not in the Dublin area, one option may be to disconnect the pump and drive it down to them. They will repair while you wait.

Be sure to turn off the electricity to the pump though! At the pump isolator switch as well as at the fuse board.

Have you removed the shower heads and cleaned them? Perhaps in a sink full of boiled water with descaler in it. Sometimes the simplest solutions work.

Also, the flow to the other hot water taps hasn't been affected? Did both showers start experiencing the problem at the same time?

Yeah that's an option will definitely do that if this doesn't work...

Really need it working drip drip not good...

Yep did the shower heads checked for an air lock too. Hoping this will work.

Yeah we had our ESB of on two occasions not sure if that caused problems for us.

Think them.PCB boards only last a certain time too...

    Thanks for the reply
