    Hi, I'm just wondering which career path would have the most opportunities, Science Teacher or Mental Health Nursing. I would appreciate any feedback on this.

    I can’t speak from authority , by knowing mental health nurses I’d say science teacher . A brutal job as a nurse

    Not a fair question. They are two very different careers for two very different people.

    Both jobs require a very different skillset.

    You need to be physically and mentally fit and strong to be an effective Mental Health Nurse and have excellent verbal, written and organisational skills and also a touch of street smarts. You will be exposed to a high risk of violence and lots of strange and peculiar situations and the hours are long.

    I have made a nice career out of it for myself and made some money. But I see culturally Ireland is changing and so with it is the job.
