Hello, does anyone know how long it takes as resident in Ireland to be considered for a mortgage based on Irish bank account and Irish credit report, rather than overseas information? I am a sole trader, so self employed. Many thanks,

How long is a piece of string. For a bog standard PAYE applicant with all the paperwork, assuming the bank isn't swamped with applications - I would think they'd turn it around in a couple of weeks.

Your ability to furnish details of your business will be a big factor I'd say

Hello, thanks for replying. I'm a sole trader so wondered documents the lender would want to see after two years here.

You will need to provide a set of accounts for each year plus if you were resident in an EU country prior to this they will also have access to your credit report details according to the EU directive.
