Hi, Im looking at a 2017 Golf (Auto 1.2 TSI petrol) with less than 50,000 KM. Its reputable dealer who give 12 month warranty, my only concern is that it's a Japanese import (1 owner). Should i be concerned at all by this?

Dealer says coz it's a European manufactured car there will be no hassle with parts etc in the future and they have been working with this import supplier for a long time with no problems.

    thanks

Is there much difference on insurance for Japanese imports? I know it's a question they always ask but does it have much of an impact?

Not for Volkswagens anyway. Theres a few JDM cars like Aquas and Vitz that some people may struggle with
