Replacing Immersion Timer

Hi my immersion timer has stopped working - it still heats if I turn it on to boost but doesn't heat using the timer function. It's an Economy 7 Water Heating Control from Newlec. It's setup to work with my night meter so comes on at night to heat.

I don't actually need a full tank of hot water as a 20min boost is more than enough for a shower and I have a dishwasher for cleaning dishes. The problem is I have to get up early in the morning to turn it on so I can shower.

I'd like to replace it with a timer I can programme to come on at a given time or ideally is smart so can be controlled via a wifi app.

Has anyone done something similar or is able to recommend options for a replacement? (I would be getting an electrician to do the actual swap!)

I live in an apartment with electric heating so it's not connected to a central heating system.

    Thanks in advance:)

Looks like you've 2 heaters rather than dual -immersion

If you definitely only require the top heater probably a single channel 16A smart timer . I'm sure there's plenty on the market

Heater also requires double pole isolation

Probably other ways of doing it
