AC Annual Recharge

I've a car that I bought at 5 years old. The AC worked perfectly, and did for another ten years (approx )afterwards. I then noticed it was no longer blowing cold air so I booked it in for a recharge, and I had cold air. once again. The issue is, I seem to need to go back and get a recharge now every one or two years. Does it indicate a failing heater core or something else?

Looks like the gas might be leaking out slowly. You can get a leak test done to see

As above. Its leaking out. Leak test can be done.

Do you use it regularily during the winter.

If not using it regurarily, seals will dry out and it will leak.

What milage is up on it.

My 09 A4 had 450kkm on it last year, was never touched but was getting weak but was used every day

That's what's happening so, as car is OTR sometimes up to 6 months.

    There's 370k kms on it

if a recharge isn’t too dear it might be a cheaper option than actually fixing it
