    Hi all.

My second learner permit expired in the middle of 2020. Just wondering what I need to get a third learner permit and get back on the bike?

Not certain, but I’d imagine at the very least you’ll need to recertify your ibt after that length of time.

Dunno if it's still the same but there was a time so long as you'd applied for a driving test you could renew within 5 years of expiry. Nuts but there you go. As a biker I'd recommend redoing your IBT even if it's not mandatory.

AFAIK re-doing the IBT is mandatory. Mine has expired (valid 2yrs) and for all intents and purposes I need to re-do the whole thing, or most of it. A valid IBT is necessary for insurance.

based on personal experience, you'll have to re-sit IBT.

You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”
