Refurb Heating Options

I want to replace the heating system in an old country house.

The current system is a back boiler in the fireplace that heats all the rads upstairs and downstairs.

I am considering changing all the rads and installing an oil boiler.

The other options are to install an air to water boiler servicing the rads or

Put in electric rads and install solar panels to minimise the energy costs.

    Any opinions or alternatives??
