Anyone watching this eve? Punk/Drew and the mixed tag is what I'm really interested in story wise but the two world title matches should be good too

Good match but the KO fakeouts were overdone. We probably won't even get a payoff from them

KO couldn't pull the trigger, has to lead to a heel turn

Hell In A Cell to finish it at Bad Blood

Great match that. The two dollar friendship bracelet doesn't quite have the impact as they think it does mind!

KO/Cody was a good match, even though KO not giving in and Cody winning because he didn't made it feel a bit hollow, hopefully there's some follow-up.

Women's Tag Titles was alright. Think Jade looked decent in the match, was kinda hoping she'd turn and Fyre and Dawn would retain. Jade and Bianca are just starting to feel a bit boring as a team.

Strap match, I really enjoyed. The rules for this always seem a bit nebulous but I enjoy the stip and think they had some great spots in there and Punk winning was the expected but right call. Guessing we're getting Hell in a Cell at Bad Blood for the rubber match.

I thought Jade and Bianca would be done after they lost the tag titles the first time and now here we are and they're two time champs... I'd say they'll hold them now for a long while before eventually splitting and building to a feud at Mania. Feels like it's the direction they're going to go.

Mixed tag was really good, especially the back half of it. That being said the Judgement Day are starting to look like goofs, they need to get a few W's and do some dastardly sh1t or they'll go back to meaning nothing.

Orton is a fckuing unit these days.

There are no words to explain my thoughts on Rhea Ripley, good lord......

Presumably we'll get Finn/Damian and Rhea/Liv at Bad Blood. The problem they have is they took the two people who made them a force out at the exact same time... They desperately desperately need a big man enforcer type, someone like Bronson Reed would work who can take people out all by himself without the 5 on 1 stuff, it's what made Damian so good in the first place

He's been going on about eating Nutella to bulk up 🤣. I'm sure that's what it is.

You could tell they weren't sure what to do to get the crowd to stop the wave at first, great call by Orton to get them re-invested.

That's fair, I think an enforcer could work but certainly them constantly coming out on the losing end with the numbers advantage can't continue either. I wonder if they'll give us both of those at Bad Blood. War Games might be Bloodline themed alright.

Gunther/Orton was a great old sort of brawl, slow and well paced and a real stiff kinda fight. Loved it. Orton passing out too is a good win for Gunther. Wonder who's next for him.

Rely enjoyed the main event. A hard hitting bout with lots of changes in pace and setting up the strong ending, the type of bout we used to see with likes of Triple H and the Rock or Taker and Stone Cold.

I agree with the Judgment day reference, they need their big busier to be added. A sneaky win for them would have been good but maybe a loss is what can lead to them adding that reinforcement? Justified as Priest keeps getting better of them despite the numbers.

Yeah I feel like, Priest was that guy for them previously

Even before he was world champion he rarely lost or looked weak (the downfall of Balor from world champion to almost jobber status is another discussion that probably needs to be had, when has he won a singles match with any stakes in the past few years) and Judgement Day looked strong as a result. Now they have Dom, JD, and Carlito who are essentially cannon fodder and Balor who well... See the brackets. Rhea also being so dominant and now being out of the Judgement Day has severely cracked their aura. They need some sort of boost from somewhere or they're going to slip into 3MB/Alpha Academy prior to Gables push territory fairly quickly!

On the main event, it was a very good match with a crowd who were loving every minute of it, which added to it immensely. Gunther needed a big win after getting help to win the title and the question marks around the Randy win provided a perfect opportunity for them. You'd almost think the botched pin was planned at this point it's worked out so well.

the Gunther Randy ending was imho perfect. You had a legend in orton pass out to the world champion. That makes Gunther made.

also, the fact the HHH’s and Stephs oldest daughter is starting college makes me feel old.

Cody and KO has got to be one of the most heatless title feuds they’ve put out in a while.

Cody and AJ was fairly heatless as well in fairness. Like in ring delivered fine but give us a reason to care….

Judgement Day are just comedy jobbers essentially. Their comedy hits better than anything else. Priest will win the 1 v 1 against Balor easily.

I was thinking about the Judegement Day big man recently and thought Bronson was a prime candidate had he not been pushed recently.

Braun or Baron Corbin also a shout, both would fit well. Ivar also would of been great , Otis, Omod or Odessy Jones.

Obama Femi from NXT would be an immediate hit.

I think Rhodes/Owens worked for what it was which was the question on whether Rhodes insisting on his traitorous-prone friend as an opponent is the same as offering an alcoholic a drink.

Rhodes/Styles was the novelty of the pairing, really.

Personally, I think They've done well at adding weight to these, for lack of a better term, transitional PPV fueds where the winner isn't really in doubt. Same for Gunther walking out with a respect for Orton that he didn't previously have.

Not looking forward to the continuing adventures of this iteration of the Bloodline though.

Good show, main event was excellent.

Cody's title matches have been good from an in-ring standpoint but the outcomes are so obvious that it really takes me out of the matches.

I'd like to have seen Gunther take it off him either at SummerSlam or here. I know it wouldn't have fit storyline wise but still.

They had Reigns as champion for so long and his match outcomes were a foregone conclusion. Now having Cody in essentially the same role is a mistake I think. You need a bit of jeopardy to hold people's interest. That'd be my thoughts on it anyway.

Also, having watched this show, I'd like if they used the announce table(s) a bit less, there seems to be a spot in every match these days, it's completely watered down at this point.
