Recording Audio on Laptop

I'm trying to record audio on my laptop from AI narrated documents. The only way I can do this is externally from my microphone. Is it possible to record audio internally instead of externally? I'm using Linux.

    Thanks

I would think OBS Studio would do that for you.

For just audio Audacity would do it (https://www.audacityteam.org/ )

OBS is great if you need video too

I didn't realise Audacity was available on Linux. That would be much better if it's only audio the OP needs to capture.

Thanks Beutler. I downloaded Audio Recorder for Linux. It has the option of recording the internal audio aswel as the microphone. It does the trick!
